Final Photography Project

1. Pictures need to be 8 x 10 inches or larger on photography paper.
2. Single theme or subject.
3. Credit will be given if edited or if has a aesthetic or visual theme.  Example all pictures black and white or all pictures shot with a specific filter such as Dramatic Warm, Vivid Cool. Credit will also be giving for thoughtful approaches to composition.
4. Five photographs.
5. Try to relate images to specific artist or photograph we have discussed in class.
6. Think or reflect on what, how you make your pictures.
7. Participate in class discussion/critique.

Exercise Checklist

:: All pictures printed 4x6 or 5x7 inches.
:: Label each exercise.
1.  Lighting - two photographs same place different lighting.  Different time of day. (2 photos)
2.  Portraits/framing - Close up, medium shot, full body shot, long shot. (4 photos)
3. Slow shutter - long shutter exposure (1 photo)
4. Aperture/Depth Field - soft back ground using a short distance and selective focus. (2 photos)
5. Bracketing - five different exposures 0, -1. -2, +1, +2.  (5 photos)
6. Collage
7. White Balance - 3 pictures using these temperatures 2500K, 5000K, 8000K.  You can use white presets such as tungsten, flourescent, daylight, etc. (3 photos)
8. Black and White Photograph - convert 3 different photos edited to become black and white. Demonstrated using Photoshop Express (3 photos)
9. 4 Photographs using these subjects shadow, self portrait, reflection, silhouette. (4 photos)
10. Composition using these 3 ideas texture, line, and shape. (3 photos)
11. Double exposure or merged photograph. (1 picture) Recommend using for Apple OS Image Blender and for Android OS use Ultimate Photo Mixer.
